Brief

Sierra Tequila was stuck in the cheap-party niche. The brief: transform it into a lifestyle brand that actually resonates with urban Gen Z — an audience that can smell inauthenticity from across the bar. 24 hours to crack it.

Insight

Tequila doesn't just come from Mexico — it bleeds it. The rawest expression of that culture isn't found in polished brand decks. It lives in the bold, intricate permanence of street tattoos: earned, personal, impossible to fake.

Idea

TEQUILA TATTOOS. Bottle designs drawn from the visual language of Mexican gang tattoos — symbolising passion, resilience, and the unfiltered spirit of the streets. A Special Edition that wears its culture, doesn't borrow it.

Result

Top 5 at Cannes Young Lions Germany. Launched live — with a tattoo artist inking the bottle designs directly onto guests at the event. The brand didn't just reach the culture. It became part of it.
